Opening times
From Monday to Saturday we are open from 11.30am to 3.00pm and from 6.00pm to 11.00pm.
On Sundays, during British Summer Time, we are open from 12.00 noon to 3.00pm and from 6.00pm to 10.30pm. During the winter, Sunday opening is from 12 noon until 5.00pm.
Food Service
We serve food from 12.00 noon until 2.00pm and from 6.00pm until 9.00pm Monday to Saturday. On Sundays we serve food from 12.00 noon until 2.00pm and from 6.00pm until 9.00pm during British Summer Time and just serve lunch from 12 noon until 3.00pm during the winter.
Wheelchair access
We have a specific parking space for wheelchair users which is situated adjacent to the Tarmac pathway to the front of the pub. There is a threshold into the pub but we have ramps to make this easy for wheelchairs to navigate.
Children and minors
We are a traditional 'grown-up' pub. Children may eat in The Garden Room and children over 14 may eat in The Dining Room and the lower bar area.
Dogs
Well-behaved dogs on a lead are allowed in the bar area and in the gardens.
Bookings
We take bookings for The Garden Room, Dining Room and bar area. Please phone us for availability. The Dining Room can also cater for parties up to 40 people so bear us in mind for your next birthday, wedding or anniversary!
Gift vouchers
Gift vouchers, for any amount, are available in person from the bar or over the telephone. We can take cash or credit cards in person or credit cards over the 'phone.
The vouchers are printed on 'antique' paper for a quality feel and make an excellent present for friends and family!
The gardens
We have a front garden and a large rear garden, both boast great countryside views. We would respectfully ask that children are accompanied in the gardens and dogs are kept on leads to allow our other customers to enjoy the peace and quiet around the pub.
